Annie Bookhout Joins Family Company

Annie Bookhout of Brooktondale, NY, recently elected to join her family operated business as an adminstrator of the Quickland Farms trucking fleet, which services various manufacturers, shippers and mercantile operations throughout the nation.

The operation is headed by her husband, Robert Morgan, former director of communications for Cornell University.

Both hold graduate degrees from the vaunted Ivy League institution.

Annie, daughter of the late Judge Richard Bookhout and Florence "Flossy" Fieg Bookhout, continues to operate a commercial horse stable and boarding operation on the family spread, located just outside Ithaca. She has been challenged recently by very brutal winter weather, but reports on a "happy and hopeful event:" the birth of her granddaughter, Madeline Anne Shedlock.
